Early Morning Prayers
In the evening we had a tea then we went to our room for some rest. It was dinner time and literally the best dinner of my life with other monks. After dinner we talked for few minutes and went to our beds. We woke up early for the morning prayers. After freshening up we went straight to prayer hall. Highest number of monks reside at Key Monastery so there was no space for us to sit in the main prayer hall. We sat outside and soon prayer started. The atmosphere was so peaceful that the sounds and prayers were directly reaching to my heart and soul. I can’t describe in words what I was feeling at that time.
A new Prayer Hall was inaugurated on 3rd August 2000 by the 14th Dalai Lama
Soon after the morning prayer got over and everyone was coming out holding a small Tropicana juice in their hand, actually at the end of prayer a small offering was made to everyone though it was just a juice but the smile & happiness on everyone’s face after getting that was simply so good to watch.
Breakfast at Key Monastery
Soon after the morning prayer ended it was the time for breakfast and we went the kitchen and there the breads were being baked along with mix vegetables.

Both the below pics perfectly depicts the two generations of monks, one is the old one who have experienced almost everything in his life and on the other hand a young monk who has just started his journey most probably to become what the older one is.
After finishing our breakfast it was our time to leave this heaven “Key Monastery” as we have to catch a bus to Kaza soon from Key Monastery itself, but before leaving I just wanted to have a talk with few of older monks and want to ask certain things about life and human nature, therefore I met these two respected monks before leaving and they gave their blessings to me.
I left “Key Monastery” and the days I spend there they simply got stamped in my heart permanently and never ever I’m going to forget those days. Though I wanted to stay there for few more days, but I left with a promise of coming back to this heaven once again.
